琐罗亚斯德教是流行于古代波斯（今伊朗）及中亚等地的宗教。琐罗亚斯德教的思想属西方理论定义下的二元论，有学者认为它对犹太教以及后来的基督教和伊斯兰教影响深远。琐罗亚斯德教的神“密特拉”也进入到罗马帝国的宗教中。琐罗亚斯德教的经典著作主要是《阿维斯塔》，意为知识、谕令、或经典，通称《波斯古经》。此教现在伊朗偏僻山区和印度孟买一带的帕西人（又译作巴斯人）中仍有很大的影响。
