大渡河，古称北江、戢水、涐水、沫水、大渡水、濛水、泸水、泸河、阳、阳山江、羊山江、中镇河、鱼通河、金川、铜河，位于中华人民共和国四川省中西部，是中国长江支流岷江的最大支流。 1935年5月，中国工农红军长征途中，曾经强渡石棉县安顺场渡口和夺取泸定县城西横跨大渡河的泸定桥。流域内旅游资源丰富，著名的峨眉山、贡嘎山、海螺沟、金口大峡谷都有独特的旅游景观。
《大渡河》是由林农、王亚彪执导，鲁琪担任编剧，韩适、赵申秋、刘怀正主演的战争电影，于1980年2月1日在中国大陆上映。 影片讲述了1935年，中国工农红军长征的队伍来到金沙江大渡河，红军突破敌军围剿渡过大渡河的故事。
